Anonymous: Even though I'm constantly reassured that I'm an attractive girl with a lot of great qualities, I've never seen this for myself. I hate how I look and I hate all of the bad things that have happened to me. I can never go through a full day without contemplating suicide.

I’m not qualified to say so, as you really should speak to a doctor, but I know what it’s like to struggle with depression and to feel ugly and unfortunate and full of awful, awful things. You are beautiful. We’re always the last people to know it when it’s about ourselves, but trust me, you are. You really are. Life is a gift. Don’t waste it and don’t destroy it. Things get better. I promise you they do. I am proof of it and could not lie to you if I tried. xxx
